Coral Reef Protection Act of 2009

Here in Palm Beach we are truly blessed with a reef system that supports a multitude of marinelife. In keeping with that spirit of gratitude for our ocean and its inhabitants we would like to encourage EVERYONE to contact the Florida Dept. of Enviromental Protection should you see any boat anchored on the reef. Let the state know that you want the Coral Reef Protection Act ENFORCED! Email Brett Godfrey with the date, location, (lat & long), description of incident, and vessel information (name and registation #'s) to: brett.godfrey@dep.state.fl.us or call 786-385-3054.

For more information, read the Dept of Environmental Protection Fact Sheet on the impact of the Coral Reef Protection Act.
